How to Delete an Apple ID Account?

Users can’t delete an Apple ID account on their own. They can address Apple support with a request to remove a specific Apple ID, but not every request is granted.   1. Access webpage and use your current Apple ID to sign in.
  2. Enter your two-factor authentication code, if necessary.
  3. Scroll the page down to the Devices list.
  4. Select a Device, then click Remove.
  5. Confirm by clicking Remove this [Device].
  6. If you need to remove more than one device, repeat steps 4 and 5.

Remove Devices Associated with your Apple ID on iOS

  1. Go to Settings → tap the Apple ID banner on top of the screen.
  2. Scroll down to Apple devices section.
  3. Choose a Device, then tap Remove From Account.
  4. Confirm by tapping Remove once more.

Deactivate Apple Device Tracking Feature

The ‘Find My iPhone (iPad, Mac or Apple Watch)’ tracking feature is associated with your Apple ID. If the feature is on, it is possible to learn the actual location of a missing Apple device then lock or erase it.   1. Open iTunes → click ‘Account’ in the Mac menu bar.
  2. Select Authorizations → click ‘De-authorize This Computer’
  3. Provide your Apple ID password → confirm by clicking ‘De-authorize.’

Sign out of your Apple ID account on all Apple devices

Once you have removed all associated devices and disabled the tracking feature, it’s time to sign out of your Apple ID on all your gadgets.

On Mac computers

  1. Go to System Preferences → click iCloud.
  2. In the iCloud preferences, click ‘Sign Out.’
